Monetization & billing
How money works on Unyly — by role: individual, team, product (Connect), creator, enterprise.
Three rules so nothing is confusing
- Search & install are always free. You only pay for runtime — tool calls and runners.
- One wallet per account. A person has a personal credit balance; a team has a shared prepaid pool. Everything is drawn from one place.
- You pay for one thing. Either your own plan (as an individual), or your team covers you. Never both.
Credits — the unit of usage
Metered actions cost credits. A plan grants a monthly allowance that resets every 30 days; exceed it and you top up at $1 = 2,000 credits. A call over Sael is cheaper than over MCP(2–2.5×) — the protocol's efficiency is baked straight into pricing.
Action MCP Sael
tool 2 cr 1 cr (Sael ×2)
runner 10 cr 4 cr (Sael ×2.5)
search (AI) 5 cr —
install 0 (free)1 · Individual (B2C)
Pays only for their own usage, from a personal credit balance.
- Free — $0, 1,000 credits/mo. Catalog, search, install are open.
- Pro — $12/mo, 25,000 credits/mo: hosted MCPs, priority, private MCPs, logs.
- Hit the limit → top up from your wallet. No surprises: install and search never charge.
2 · Team (workspace)
One shared wallet for the whole team — one payer, everyone uses it.
- Team — $49/mo per workspace: up to 10 seats, a shared credit pool, shared private MCPs, roles, SSO, analytics.
- Members connect with a team token — their calls come from the shared pool; they personally pay nothing.
- Managed in
/account/teams: top-ups, seats, per-member caps.
3 · Product / Connect (the ARA model)
You embed our gateway in your product. Your users connect with one token — and their consumption bills to your prepaid balance, not to them. Example: ARA has an “ARA MCP”; ARA's users use it; ARA pays for the credits.
- Register your private MCPs — proxied through the gateway, never in the public catalog.
- Top up a shared prepaid balance; a fixed part (seats/hosting) + metered calls with a markup.
- Set your own per-seat and per-tool price — keep the margin, monetize your own users however you like.
- Your end users pay Unyly nothing: one invoice goes to you.
Entry point — /account/teams (create a team → top up → register a private MCP → hand out tokens). More on the gateway at /gateway.
4 · MCP creator (you earn)
Price your MCP — you keep 80%.
- InstaPay processing: ~1% per transaction (USDT TRC-20 is near-zero)
- Unyly platform fee: 20% (hosting, billing, support, SEO, distribution)
Subscribers · 1,247 × $5 $6,235.00
InstaPay fees (~1%) −$62.35
Unyly platform · 20% −$1,234.53
───────────
Net to your wallet $4,938.12How it works:
- Provide a crypto wallet on MCP submission (USDT, USDC, BTC, ETH, or 100+ others)
- Set your price in USD — subscription, tiers, or one-time purchase
- Users pay at install time; checkout is handled by InstaPay
- Withdraw on demand or auto-payout (minimum $5, no banks needed)
Why crypto, not cards: global, no LLC/KYC · cheaper (~1% vs 2.9%+$0.30) · payouts in minutes · $5 floor · no chargeback fraud.
5 · Enterprise
A large team with governance: private registry, SSO/SAML, audit, allow-lists, pooled usage on one invoice. ACV by contract — /contact. Employees pay nothing.
Taxes · cancellation · refunds
Taxes are the seller's responsibility (crypto payments are declared as gross revenue). Subscriptions cancel anytime in the dashboard. Refunds within 7 days are auto-approved (at the USD purchase rate); beyond that, creators decide.
