Start a new story in the style you want. After the first panel, that story’s style stays locked so later panels match. Use a new story when you want a different look. Call manga.list_styles for the live API ids.

Build multi-panel manga stories

Go beyond one-off images. Start a story, add panels step by step, and keep characters looking more consistent as the story grows.

Continue defaults keep Image 1 = first panel (identity) and Image 2 = last distinct panel (scene). Override Image 1 with identity_panel_id or identity_image / reference_image (https URL or data URI). Override Image 2 with continuity_panel_id or continuity_image. Call manga.list_panels for ids (ref_role is identity or scene). If you lost story_id after compaction, call manga.list_stories then continue.

Text to manga

Write any scene in everyday language: a duel under cherry blossoms, a neon city at night, a quiet classroom moment, or a fantasy quest. Add rain, lighting, camera angle, full color, or classic black and white.

Mangii turns rough ideas into clearer scene descriptions before the image is drawn. You stay in control of the story — the model renders the panel.

Authentication (BYOK)

Mangii uses bring-your-own-key billing. Mint an API key in the Mangii Developer Console and pay for credits through Mangii (Stripe). There is no OpenRouter routing and no separate image-model billing.

2. Create an API key (mangii_sk_…)
3. Pass it as a Bearer token on every request
