Cursor IDE added MCP support in 2025. Config lives at ~/.cursor/mcp.json (macOS/Linux) or %USERPROFILE%\.cursor\mcp.json (Windows). The simplest way to install: pick an MCP on Unyly, switch to the Cursor tab, click Install — the cursor:// deeplink opens Cursor with the config pre-filled, you approve, MCP is registered. For local stdio MCPs, Cursor launches the subprocess on first use. For remote (HTTP) MCPs, you need Cursor Pro which adds connector support.
