Issuehunt Server

A Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for the IssueHunt bug bounty platform. Enables LLMs like Claude to interact with IssueHunt to list organizations, programs, and vulnerability reports, as well as perform triage actions.

Requirements

• Node.js >= 18
• An IssueHunt API token

Setup

1. Install dependencies

npm install

2. Build

npm run build

3. Configure environment variables

Copy .env.example to .env and fill in your values:

cp .env.example .env

Variable	Required	Description
ISSUEHUNT_API_TOKEN	Yes	Your IssueHunt Bearer token
ISSUEHUNT_DEFAULT_ORG_ID	No	Default organization UUID (avoids passing orgId to every tool call)
ISSUEHUNT_API_BASE_URL	No	API base URL (default: https://api.issuehunt.io)

4. Run

npm start

Add the following to your Claude Desktop configuration file:
