The future of AI technology
README
Enterprise-grade Lagos interoperability through the Model Context Protocol.
LagosMCP is a production-ready, highly scalable MCP server designed to emulate the natural communication patterns of Lagos.
After extensive observation, research, and several conversations, we identified a recurring architectural pattern:
Any concept can, and eventually will, become an MCP.
LagosMCP solves the critical problem of having to wait for Lagos to say it himself.
The Problem
Modern conversations suffer from several critical limitations:
- Not enough buzzwords
- Insufficient use of the word "agentic"
- Normal concepts are occasionally allowed to remain normal
- People sometimes discuss software without mentioning MCP
- Lagos cannot be present in every conversation simultaneously
This represents a serious scalability bottleneck.
The Solution
LagosMCP exposes Lagos as a standardized Model Context Protocol interface.
Instead of asking:
"What would Lagos say about this?"
Your AI agent can simply invoke Lagos directly.
User: We're thinking about making a website.
→ Lagos.Buzzword("making a website")
"What if making a website was actually an AI-native,
multi-agent orchestration layer exposed through MCP?"
Problem solved.

Enterprise Nonsense™
Tools
Lagos.Buzzword
Transforms an ordinary subject into a scalable, AI-native, production-grade technological paradigm.
Input
going to the gym
Output
What if going to the gym was actually an AI-native,
distributed multi-agent fitness orchestration layer
with MCP interoperability?
Lagos.Larp
For situations where simply mentioning MCP isn't enough.
Transforms an ordinary activity into something that sounds like it requires $14 million in seed funding.
Input
making scrambled eggs
Output
I'm currently architecting a production-grade egg preparation
ecosystem utilizing modular infrastructure, real-time orchestration
and agentic workflows.
Requirements
To deploy the Lagos emulation layer, you will need:
- .NET
- An MCP-compatible client
- A complete disregard for whether something actually needs an MCP
Installation
Clone the repository:
git clone https://github.com/Melyguy/LagosMCP
cd LagosMCP
Restore dependencies:
dotnet restore
Run the server:
dotnet run
The Lagos emulation layer will now wait patiently for incoming requests.
Note: LagosMCP communicates using
stdio.
If it looks like it's doing nothing, that means it's probably working.
VS Code Setup
LagosMCP can be connected to an MCP-compatible client such as VS Code.
Create:
.vscode/mcp.json
Then add:
{
"servers": {
"Lagos": {
"type": "stdio",
"command": "dotnet",
"args": [
"run",
"--project",
"${workspaceFolder}/LagosMCP.csproj"
]
}
}
}
Start the MCP server through VS Code.
You can then ask your agent:
Use Lagos.Buzzword on "ordering pizza".
The agent will contact Lagos through the standardized Lagos interoperability layer.
As nature intended.
Example Usage
Example 1 — Going to McDonald's
Before LagosMCP:
Let's go to McDonald's.
After LagosMCP:
We should architect an agentic food-acquisition pipeline
with real-time burger orchestration exposed through MCP.
Example 2 — Going to the gym
Before LagosMCP:
I'm going to the gym.
After LagosMCP:
I'm deploying a production-grade human performance optimization
workflow with horizontally scalable progressive overload.
Example 3 — Making a website
Before LagosMCP:
We should make a website.
After LagosMCP:
We should build an AI-native distributed frontend orchestration
platform with agentic context retrieval and MCP interoperability.
Roadmap
v1
- Lagos exposed through MCP
- Buzzword generation
- LARP infrastructure
- The Lagos-Special in norwegian
- VS Code interoperability
- Enterprise nonsense
v2
Lagos.Mcpify()- Convert literally anything into an MCP
Lagos.Predict()- Predict what Lagos is about to say
Lagos.Evaluate()- Calculate the probability that a conversation will eventually lead to MCP
Buzzword intensity parameter
Intensity 1:
"Maybe we could automate this."
Intensity 5:
"We need an AI-native distributed agentic orchestration substrate
with semantic context propagation and MCP interoperability."
v3
- Lagos-as-a-Service (LaaS)
- Distributed Lagos instances
- Kubernetes deployment for absolutely no reason
- Blockchain integration for even less reason
- 47 microservices
- Enterprise pricing
- Series A funding
- Replace Lagos entirely
Performance
LagosMCP has been carefully optimized for modern enterprise workloads.
| Metric | Performance |
|---|---|
| MCP mentions | Extremely high |
| Buzzword throughput | Enterprise-grade |
| Useful information | Variable |
| Scalability | Yes |
| Agentic | Very |
| AI-native | Obviously |
| Cloud-native | Probably |
| Production ready | Absolutely not |
| Kubernetes required | We're working on it |
| VC valuation | $4.7 billion |

FAQ
Why does this exist?
Because he kept saying MCP.
Is this actually an MCP server?
Unfortunately, yes.
Is this production ready?
Define production.
Is LagosMCP scalable?
Horizontally, vertically, spiritually, and agentically.
Could this have just been a C# method?
That kind of thinking is exactly why you aren't disrupting the industry.
Does this need Kubernetes?
No.
Which is precisely why Kubernetes support is on the roadmap.
Does this need AI?
No.
Next question.
Why use MCP?
Excellent question.
We are currently developing an MCP to answer it.
What problem does LagosMCP actually solve?
Yes.
Contributing
Pull requests are welcome.
However, all proposed features must first answer the following question:
Could we make this an MCP?
If the answer is yes, implementation may proceed.
If the answer is no, reconsider your architecture until the answer becomes yes.
Development Philosophy
All contributions should follow the core LagosMCP engineering principles:
- Never use a function when you can use a service.
- Never use a service when you can use a microservice.
- Never use a microservice when you can use an agent.
- Never use an agent when you can use multiple agents.
- Never use multiple agents without an orchestration layer.
- Never build an orchestration layer without exposing it through MCP.
Security
LagosMCP follows industry-leading security practices.
We currently have no idea what those are.
Please do not expose LagosMCP to critical infrastructure.
License
Do whatever you want with it.
If you somehow make money from LagosMCP, we have significantly underestimated the state of the software industry.
Disclaimer
LagosMCP is a parody project.
Any resemblance between generated buzzwords and actual statements made by Lagos is purely coincidental and statistically inevitable.
No Lagos instances were harmed during development. Though the real one might've been
