MindBacklog

Official Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration for MindBacklog.

This package allows AI assistants like Claude Desktop to connect securely to your MindBacklog workspace, giving them the ability to read your PRDs, user stories, customer signals, and feature context natively.

Installation for Claude Desktop

1. Generate an MCP Token from your MindBacklog Developer Settings.
2. Open Claude Desktop, navigate to Settings > Developer > Edit Config.
3. Add the following configuration to your claude_desktop_config.json:

4. Fully quit and restart Claude Desktop.

Usage

Once connected, you can ask Claude things like:

• "What are the latest customer signals regarding the billing page?"
• "Read the PRD for the Dark Mode feature and help me plan the implementation."
• "Write acceptance criteria for the new dashboard stories."

Security

Your MCP token has access to your organization's MindBacklog data. Treat it like a password. If compromised, revoke it immediately in your Developer Settings.
