Placera

Independent, public, read-only Streamable HTTP MCP server for Placera headlines, articles, company tags, and Telegram search. It contains no Avanza authentication or trading decisions.

Setup and run

The endpoint is http://127.0.0.1:8766/mcp by default. It is intentionally unauthenticated because every exposed tool reads public data and no login, account, or mutation operation exists. No Authorization header is required. The server remains bound to localhost by default; anyone who can reach a reconfigured network binding can call it.

The integration is read-only. Use conservative request rates, respect the publisher's terms and robots guidance, and do not republish copyrighted article content beyond what you are permitted to use.

Environment ownership

This project owns PLACERA_MCP_PORT and PLACERA_BASE_URL. It has no credential or bearer-token setting.

Tests

uv run pytest

Tests use mocked HTTP responses and do not scrape the live website.

See CONTRIBUTING.md before submitting changes. Report security issues according to SECURITY.md. Never include cookies or private browsing data in a public issue.
