Quick Start

Prerequisites

• Python 3.9+
• VMware vCenter Server or ESXi host
• Docker (optional)
• Ollama (for AI features)
• n8n (for workflow automation)

Installation

1. Clone and setup:

cd ~/vmware-mcp-server
python -m venv .venv
source .venv/bin/activate
pip install -r requirements.txt

2. Configure environment:

cp config/.env.example config/.env
# Edit config/.env with your VMware credentials

3. Run the server:

python -m src.main

docker-compose up -d
