Connect Claude in 30 seconds

You can connect Trends MCP in three ways. The Connector option works on Claude.ai (web), Claude Desktop, and Claude mobile, on Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise plans.

Option 1: Add as a Claude Connector (easiest)

Inside Claude, on web (claude.ai), Desktop, or mobile:

1. Open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
2. Enter these two values (copy them from trendsmcp.ai, there is also an Add to Claude button there that opens the connector form for you):
   • Name: Trends MCP
   • Server URL: https://www.trendsmcp.ai/mcp
3. Save, then sign in with your TrendsMCP account when Claude prompts you.

The connector then shows up in every new Claude conversation and you can toggle it on per chat.

Option 2: Claude Desktop (manual config file)

User → Settings → Developer → Edit Config. Add inside mcpServers:

Config file location:

• Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json
• Windows: %APPDATA%\Claude\claude_desktop_config.json

Fully quit and restart Claude Desktop after saving.

Never commit your API key to a public repository. Use environment variables or your OS secret store. Keys can be rotated at any time from your TrendsMCP dashboard. The YOUR_API_KEY placeholder above is a literal string to replace with your own key after you copy the snippet locally.
