About

Reference for the read-only MCP connector of TTMT – Telegram to MetaTrader. Works with Claude, ChatGPT, and any MCP client.

README

A read-only Model Context Protocol (MCP) connector for TTMT – Telegram to MetaTrader. It lets Claude, ChatGPT, or any MCP client answer questions about your own TTMT trading data: trades, signals, channels, performance, settings, and risk status.

It only reads. The connector has no way to place a trade, change a setting, close a position, or move money.

This repository holds the connector's public reference and its issue tracker. TTMT hosts the server, so there is nothing to install or run.

Connect

Server URL https://app.telegramtometatrader.com/api/mcp/mcp
Transport Streamable HTTP
Authentication OAuth 2.1. You sign in with your TTMT account
Registry name com.telegramtometatrader/ttmt in the official MCP Registry

Add the server URL as a custom connector in your client and sign in when prompted. Step-by-step guides per client:

Claude Code, for example:

claude mcp add --transport http ttmt https://app.telegramtometatrader.com/api/mcp/mcp

An unauthenticated request returns 401. You need a TTMT account that the current access policy admits; the quickstart says who that is.

What you can ask

  • "How did today go across my accounts?"
  • "Why didn't that last gold signal trade?"
  • "Which of my channels has the best average R over the last 30 days, and on how many trades?"
  • "Am I close to my daily loss limit?"
  • "What would this signal do with my current settings?" The answer is a calculation. No order is placed.

Tools

20 read-only tools:

Area Tools
Accounts and channels list_accounts, list_channels, get_profiles
Trades and positions list_trades, get_trade, get_trade_trace, list_positions
Signals list_signals, explain_skip

Daily limits

Plan Tool calls
Essential 25 per day, which is roughly three questions. Resets at midnight UTC
Pro and higher Unlimited

One question usually chains several tool calls, which is why 25 calls comes to about three questions.

Security

  • Read-only by construction. No tool writes anything.
  • OAuth 2.1 sign-in. You never paste a password, an API key, or any other secret into your AI client.
  • Each session reads only the signed-in user's data. A rate limit of 60 requests per minute applies per user.

More in the security documentation.

Issues

Open an issue here for a tool that returns something wrong, a client that will not connect, or a question the connector should be able to answer and cannot. Leave account numbers, trade references, and anything else that identifies you out of the issue. For account-specific problems, email [email protected].
